I have been working as a psychotherapist in full time private practise for over 7 years.
I am a volunteer counsellor for the Listening Post in Gloucester.
My initial psychotherapy training was with the NCHP in London with whom I hold an advanced diploma. I am now in my 6th year of a psychoanalytic / psychodynamic psychotherapy training with the AIP (Association of Independent Psychotherapists), also based in London. (http://www.aip.org.uk/)
I am a full member of the UKCP - The UKCP "...works to improve access to psychological therapies, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards, and also deals with complaints against organisational members as well as individual members."
I adhere to their codes of ethics and conduct and undertake the continued professional development and supervision requirements.
